Kythnos is one of the least visited Cyclades islands and one of the most authentically Greek. It has thermal springs at Loutra (one of the oldest in Greece), beautiful beaches, two pretty villages, and a local character that hasn't been reshaped by tourism. It's close enough to Athens to be popular with Greek weekenders but far enough off the international radar to remain genuine.
