Trip planning

Greek island hopping routes.

Six ready-made itineraries built around real ferry schedules — from a 4-day Saronic weekend to a full 14-day Crete-and-Santorini trip. Pick the shape of your trip, then let the pages for each island fill in the details.

How to read these itineraries

  • · Nights, not days. Ferry travel eats a half-day, so "3 nights" is really "2 full days on the island".
  • · Fly into the first stop, out of the last. Backtracking to Athens costs a full travel day. Open-jaw tickets are the same price.
  • · Book ferries a week ahead in July–August. May, June, September and early October are usually fine on the day.
  • · Check the wind. The meltemi (Cyclades' summer north wind) cancels catamarans faster than big ferries. Blue Star always sails.
